Guía Arlas - 1910
The 'Guia Arlas' (Arlas Guide) is a fundamental tool to any historical researcher working on Buenos Aires' history. With its 1213 pages, this book lists all the shops and professionals registered in the city, like depots, engineers, lawyers, banks and much more.
This guide allows the researcher to find the exact addresses of the 1910s Buenos Aires.
The book is organized in three sections. The first list all the content following an alphabetic order; the second section is listed by street names and number; and the last sections list all the content by professions.
The original scanned book was mostly well preserved. There were some cases of badly damage or missing pages, but in general the book is 99% complete.
There was a section focused on the Province of Buenos Aires, but it was very damage, and it was impossible to scan it, so it is missing from this digital book, which only cover the Federal District.
