In its 174 pages the 'Anuario' catalogs all the projects and statistics showing the Municipality's public works. The book is illustrated with many pictures and graphics.

This is a very important publication for anyone trying to follow the many transformations that the city of Buenos Aires was enduring in the 1940s.

Another interesting detail is that this was the last publication done before the 1943's coup. This would be the first public stage for Juán Domingo Perón, who would become presidente in 1946.

It is interesting comparing this book with the following year's publication and see how the public discourse changed after the coup which ended the period called the 'infamous decade' and started the Peronist era.
